Elysium | Original Peony Acrylic Painting

Elysium is the first in the Blooming Botanical Collection. This piece was named after the Elysian Fields from ancient Greek mythology which was told to be an eternal paradise for heroes and those granted immortality by the gods and the blessed dead.

Painted with acrylic paint on canvas from September to October 2024 and finished on Saturday, October 12th. Varnished with a glossy finish. It comes framed in an old-world styled frame with a distinctive richness that is hand-leafed with gold.
